While there have been few positions changes over the last few days in the VOR with illbruck heading the fleet, Amer Sports One has snatched fifth position from SEB

In the last few hours, Amer Sports One has overhauled SEB, moving into fifth position in the Volvo Ocean Race as the fleet heads towards La Rochelle.

The winds have eased considerably, as the boats sail into a weak ridge of high pressure. These light airs of 5-10 knots are giving the crews the opportunity to effect running repairs; on board illbruck they are working on some damage to the end of a jockey pole and its mast fitting.
