Matthew Sheahan flies across the Solent aboard the world's fastest boat

This month’s issue (Aug) carries a story on what it’s like to charge across the Solent at speeds that would give the Red Jet passenger ferry a run for its money. In just 12-14knots of wind the foiling 60ft trimaran nudged 30knots. A couple of days later Alain Thebault and his crew scorched down the western Solent at 42 knots!
