This year's Optimist world championship will take place at Corpus Christi YC from 3-14 July
The United States Optimist Dinghy Association (USODA) and the Corpus Christi Yacht Club have been selected to host the 40th annual International Optimist Dinghy Association’s (IODA) World Sailing Championship regatta. Returning to the United States for the first time since 1966, this prestigious youth sailing event, sponsored by Tyco International is scheduled from July 3-14, 2002.
