Cleveland, UK-based Typhoon already claims global leadership for drysuits and is attempting to equal this reputation in the wetsuit market.

The new range of suits go by the name of ‘Pulse’ and feature a number of different models for men, women and children at retail prices between £29.95-£69.95. They come in one piece, shorty and long john formats and have been designed by Stuart Hutchins who has previously worked with Gul and Sola on their design teams.

The high stretch titanium-lined neoprene is 3mm thick. Typhoon claims that this ensures warmth without compromising flexibility. The collar and neck seal have been carefully designed for comfort and there are no underarm seams to cause irritation.

With new colours, new logos, new styling, new fit and new fabrics, Typhoon have not so much brought out a new range as performed a complete overhaul of their product. Visitors to the London boat show should be able to spot these products on retailers’ stands in the East Hall.
