Team put together a calendar focusing on three main events

Team Origin are about to embark on their busiest season yet. For the first time ever, the team have been able to put together a proper training and racing calendar, which focus on three main classes of event: TP52 Audi MedCup circuit; Louis Vuitton Trophy regattas; and World Match Racing Tour events.

The match racing team have just returned from France, the first event of the Tour, where they successfully reached the finals and then lost out to Matthieu Ricard on France.

Now the team re-group for some TP52 training in their new boat, just arrived from New Zealand, where they will spend a week in Portimao, Portugal, during the first week of May, carrying out final boat tuning and modifications and getting the team up to speed.

The Official Naming Ceremony of the new TP52 race boat of TeamOrigin will be held at a ‘naming breakfast’ event to be held during the first Audi MedCup event in Cascais, Portugal on Monday 10th May 2010.

From there they head to Cascais for the first Audi MedCup event, to line up against the other hot competition TP52 teams, racing starts on 12 May.

Immediately after the Cascais event ends, TeamOrigin jump on a plane bound for Sardinia for the next Louis Vuitton Trophy La Maddalena event, where training in America’s Cup boats starts on the 18 May and racing commences on 22 May. That event runs to 6 June.
