A Brazilian team from Rio de Janeiro won the third race of the Soling Worlds at Veleiros do Sul Brazil yesterday.

Renato Cunha Faria, Ricardo Ermel and Eduardo Cunha Faria managed to break through fellow Brazilians Ernesto Neugebauer, Luiz Henrique Passow and Lucas Ostergen on the last leg to secure first place. Commenting on their race Neugebauer the helmsman said: “We had a very nice start and sailed well on all legs. However, at the last windward mark the wind changed and we ended in fourth place.”

The overall leaders with three results in the top three are the Argentines, Gustavo Warburg, Hernan Celedoni and Maximo Smith. Ricardo Pedebos
