SEB and Djuice Dragons had to cancel their second attempt to compete from Gothenburg to Sandhamn due to too light winds

SEB and Djuice Dragons had to cancel their second attempt to compete from Gothenburg to Sandhamn due to too light winds. The boats are now expected to arrive in Sandhamn Thursday night.

The restart of the race went smoothly midday yesterday but had to be cancelled a couple of hours later when speed weren’t high enough. Since then the boats have been motoring.

“The two racing sessions we have made during the stretch have worked well for us but it’s too short to say anything more analytic out of it,” Krantz reported on Thursday morning. The position of the two boats then were 40 miles south of town of Västervik in northern Kalmarsund.

Now it just remains for the two boats to prepare for the start of the Round Gotland Race this weekend.
