This years Round Gotland Race starts at 1300 today and is expected to finish on July 3. No less than seven Volvo 60s will be on the starting line this afternoon, which is only one less than the number lined up for the Volvo Ocean race.

In the class GR Open there are 21 boats entered. One 100-footer (Cap Gemeni), four 80-footers (Nicorette, Morning Glory, Europolitan and Lodka Bols Sport), three trimarans (First Hotels, Toshiba and Sony) and seven V.O.60s that include:
