Over the weekend 15-16 November the Lark Class Association organised an end of season training session at Queen Mary SC, in preparation for the Winter Championships, at the same venue next weekend.

Boats travelled from across the country and spent the weekend doing on and off the water exercises. The Saturday was spent focussing on skills the sailors thought they need to concentrate on, while the Sunday was spent concentrating on skills the coaches felt the participants should review.

The principle of the session was to exclude the best Lark sailors from the event so that time could be spent with sailors further down the fleet.

Due to the success of the event the Lark Association will run a number of similar events in different venues across the country next year. Keep an eye on the Lark website (www.larkclass.org) for details as they are confirmed.
