Competitors in this year’s Rolex Fastnet race which starts on 10 August could benefit from a brand-new chart & software package specially developed for the race.

Transas Nautic, one of the World’s largest manufacturers of navigation software, have produced a package which comprises a total of 57 electronic charts, covering the entire route of the race, and also includes Transas’ well-known navigation software, NaviGator.

Supported by NaviGator, the charts will plot, in intricate detail, the 600nm route which starts from Cowes, Isle of Wight, westward out of the Solent, past the Needles and along the coastline of England.
