The overnight leaders needed very little to take the Cherub national championship at Castle Cove SC. In the event the lighter winds on Sunday 22 July – not their preferred conditions – did the trick for them as moderate winds aces Andy and Alex Paterson took both races on the last day.

David Roe and Clare Warren’s two seconds were not good enough to get them close to Russell and Lee, who discarded their two thirds.
