PWA tour arrives in the Bay of Roses on Spain's Costa Brava for the second Super-X competition of the season

PWA tour arrives in the Bay of Roses on Spain’s Costa Brava for the second Super-X competition of the season.

Fresh from the success of April’s event in Leucate, France, the Professional Windsurfer’s Association hosts the second leg of the Super-X comp on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. The competition runs from 9th until 13th June and many of the big names in windsurfing will be competing. Antoine Albeau will be defending his champion status in this exciting new aspect to the tour.

The Bay of Roses is 12km of sand with regular winds. It is one of Spain’s prime areas for windsurfing and should make up for the disappointing conditions in Croatia last week where rain and lack of wind forced the cancellation of the competition. A major area for Spanish tourism, The Bay’s mix of excellent conditions and great nightlife and atmosphere makes it a favourite stopover for sailors on the tour.

Wednesday is registration day so the action should start on Thursday 10th.
