Neal McDonald and his crew aboard Assa Abloy has taken the lead in leg 2 of the Volvo Ocean Race. In an abating breeze they are now four miles ahead of Team Tyco as they power their way downwind in a 25 knot breeze in the Southern Ocean.

As well as keeping an eye on third placed SEB who’s currently lying 11 miles astern, the crews from the leading boats will be on the look out for rogue icebergs, sightings of which are becoming more and more frequent as they head further south.
