After the initial burst just after the start on Sunday, the Around Alone yachts are now sitting in no wind

As the boats competing in the Round Alone Race head east from New York towards Torbay (the first stopover) those in pole position including Bobst Group Armor Lux, Hexagon and Solidaires appear to be pulling ahead of the fleet after just three days at sea.

However, recent reports show that they too have now hit a light spot and will have to make the most of the high pressure system which seems to have settled over the race course off the coast of America.
