World Cruising Club Atlantic Circuit Seminar announces 2007

The sixth annual World Cruising Club Atlantic Circuit Seminar was recently held in Guildford, UK, and attracted over 40 delegates from throughout the UK, Channel Islands, and from as far afield as Switzerland.

The three-day Seminar programme covered every topic necessary to fully prepare delegates for an Atlantic Circuit. There were presentations from an international group of 18 lecturers and from World Cruising Club staff covering subjects such as Boat and Safety Equipment, Power Management, Communications, First Aid, Weather and Routing.

The lecturers came from all parts of the globe, including Canada, Israel, Switzerland, Germany, Northern Ireland and Jersey. The majority have extensive ocean sailing experience with an estimated 500,000 nautical miles offshore miles logged between them.

Next year’s Seminar dates are confirmed for the weekend of 2-4 March 2007. Full details for booking the seminar will be released in September. To reserve a place contact World Cruising Club
