Ever wondered what it’s like in the thick of the action? Take a ride with the Brits at the Louis Vuitton Trophy in Nice

Ride aboard Team Origin in their match against Artemis in Round Robin 1. Produced by Keith Brash & Matt Carkeek of BTS Broadcast, this short video story is well worth a watch. Creatively filmed and an innovative way of telling a match race story.

Meanwhile the action in Nice continues as a modified Round Robin 2 gets under way.

Today’s (Sunday) opening match between Team Origin and BMW Oracle saw a dramatic change of lead take place half way through the match to see Ainslie and Co. take the lead at the finish.

In the second match of the day, the newcomers Russian team Synergy beat the rock stars aboard Artemis in anything but a fluky win. Karol Jablonski and his Russian team sailed a cool, calm and collected race to ensure that Artemis finished behind them.

There was a further surprise in the third match of the day when the Russian team read the fickle conditions better than the Brits. So much so that Ainslie and his team never got a look in and had to watch Jablonski and co. take an early advantage to the right hand side of the course before extending their lead throughout the entire race to take another win.

Half way through the Louis Vuitton event here in Nice and the Russians are fast becoming the talk of the town. So too is BMW Oracle Racing but for the wrong reasons. Loss after loss, many are asking what on earth has happened to the American team. Two more losses this morning brings their total score so far to 6 defeats to 3 wins leaving them close to the bottom of the results table.
