Club championship in Sydney - heat 4

John Winning and his Ssangyong Yandoo crew produced one of their best performances of the season to take out Heat 4 of the Australian 18 Footers League Club Championship on Sydney Harbour today.

Ssangyong Yandoo defeated Casio Seapathfinder (Michael Coxon) by 14secs with recent Giltinan Championship winner Club Marine (Euan McNicol) a further 1min 9secs back in third place.

Although unplaced today, Omega Smeg (Daniel Phillips) heads the pointscore table with 18 points, followed by Asko Appliances (Hugh Stodart) on 19 and Casio on 21.The final race of the championship will be sailed on Sunday 3 April.
