Mount Gay celebrates 30 years at Cowes

To celebrate a partnership of over 30 years at Cowes Week, Mount Gay Rum is introducing a limited edition 'Cowes Cocktail' - the Mount Gay Regatta Rum Punch.

Mount Gay, the world's oldest rum, has a true sailing heritage and has been one of the sailors choice drinks for over 300 years. Their brand new rum punch has been created by a Maxxium mixologist and will be available at Skandia Cowes Week for the very first time - and yachtingworld.com has the recipe:

The Mount Gay Regatta Rum Punch

1½ shots of Mount Gay Eclipse
1 shot BOLS Apricot
1 shot fresh lime juice
3 basil leaves
50 mls pinapple juice

Shake all above ingredients together, strain into a highball glass over crushed ice, and
crown with ginger ale. Perfect for your crew BBQ, or to enjoy on the shoreline.
