First sight of the boat Britain's premier solo sailor is hoping will be a world beater

British solo sailor Mike Golding's new Open 60 Ecover 3 has just been launched in Auckland. This is the boat in which he is hoping to be third time lucky - and do what no other Brit has ever done: win the Vendée Globe solo round the world race.
