A lifeboatman and a submissive sheep... Avert your eyes.
Granted, it looks a bit strange and I'm sure there was a fair bit of banter at the lifeboat house when they uploaded this photo. The crew of Horton & Porteynon inshore lifeboat really did corner a ewe this weekend.
They were called out to help the fire service rescue a dog that had gone over a cliff. When they arrived the dog was being rescued and instead they found a sheep in a precarious position. So they saved that.
According to the RNLI the ewe took "much persuading".
It doesn't look too relieved here, right enough.

Let's hope the sheep's family will be grateful to the RNLI, and the dog's wife and kids too for that matter. Is it possible to donate old bones ?
