Prada Challenge conceded defeat last night and withdrew from the quarter finals. This allows Alinghi to move on to the semi-finals to meet Oracle.

The quarter-finals is a best of seven series after which the two teams that lose in the bottom group go home. The two teams that lose in the top group drop down to race the winners of the bottom group in the repechage.
