Spanish website Valencia Sailing.com have confirmed that Franck Cammas, skipper of Groupama 3, and crew are in Valencia training with BMW Oracle Racing

The American challenger resumed its two-boat training on Monday after a two-week break due to the participation of Russell Coutts, James Spithill and other crewmembers in various events around the world.

Although it is not clear when Cammas began his training with the team, he was finally spotted this week onboard Holmatro. The team’s two catamarans went out under nice conditions for a training schedule consisting mainly of pre-start maneuvers. The white catamaran, now with BMW Oracle branding, was skippered by James Spithill, while the Holmatro yacht was helmed by Franck Cammas and crewed by members of the Groupama team.
