Team Origin crew prepare to defend their lead in the iShares Cup Series

TEAMORIGIN sailors are ready to defend their leadership so far in the iShares Cup Extreme 40 Sailing Series. They are in the build-up week using the time to prepare and train ahead of what promises to be a thrilling event with both Alinghi and two boats from BMW Oracle America’s Cup teams taking part. The sailing team will consist of Robert Greenhalgh (Skipper/helm); Peter Greenhalgh (tactician/mainsheet); Julien Cressant (Trimmer) and Matt Cornwell (bow). Also present during the three days of racing will be Sir Keith Mills (Team Principal) and Mike Sanderson (Team Director).

The series points so far after two events (Lugano, Switzerland and Hyeres,
France) looks as follows:

3rd JP Morgan AM 10, 4, -, 14 pts

Two further events will complete the circuit: Kiel, Germany at the end of August and Amsterdam, Holland in mid-September.

Sir Keith Mills commented: “I am really looking forward to Cowes. We’ve been waiting a long time to see three Cup teams out on the water and I am really happy that TEAMORIGIN is one of them. I am sure we will see plenty of competitiveness from all the teams. It promises to be a really exciting event.”
