The fleet have been enjoying good breeze and flatter seas 1200 miles from the finish

Today is the 17th at sea for the fleet of the Transat AG2R, and the leaders are approximately 1200 miles from the finish in St Barths. And this morning, the main news is that Cercle Vert (Gildas Morvan and Bertrand de Broc) have taken the lead, ahead of Brit Air (Armel Le Cleac’h), Banque Populaire (Jeanne Gregoire and Gerald Veniard) and Savéol (Samantha Davies, GBR and Romain Attanasio)

The route South, taken by Generali (Nicolas Lunven and Jean Le Cam) seems not to have paid off, with the crew 86 miles behind the leaders. But now Lunven and Le Cam are on a similar heading to the top four, the duo will hope to start making up some miles. Genarali still remains a threat.
