An RS600 Fat Face Circuit event took place at Weston Sailing Club on 16-17 October. In the first race first and second places were fought out by Jamie Mawson and Andy Heissig with Andy forcing Jamie into the windward mark. Jamie did his turns and dropped back to finish in 4th, leaving Rob Chaplin 2nd.

Jamie took the lead in the second race closely followed by Rob and Mat. Mat capsized allowing Dave Nunn to move into third closely followed by Ian.

Ian made a gutsy port hand start in the 3rd race, reaching the windward mark with a good lead and finishing 1st. In light and shifty winds Rob managed to fight his way to third, Jamie was second.

The second day saw more wind. Jamie took an early lead with Ian close on his heels. Fierce competition took place for third between Rob and Dave fizzled out for both of them with Dave finishing eighth with Rob fourth. Jamie took first with Ian in second, and Alex Knight in third.

Race 5 saw Ian and Andy fighting it out for first. A fracas 10m from the finish gave Dave the opportunity to finish in fourth place and Fred Lord to take fifth.

The last race saw Mat closely followed by Ian and Jamie. Ian overtook Mat at the end of the second beat and left the fleet standing. On the second reach Mat sailed into a hole leaving Ian to take first, Jamie second and Rob third.
