The first Challenge Business Round Britain and Ireland Challenge in April proved such a success that the organisers announced that it would be run again this autumn. However, despite have over 400 enquiries it has been decided to postpone it until summer 2004. It is also hoped to make it an annual event. It will be raced in the older 67 footers and Challenge Business is considering inviting private owners who have bought these boats to enter – four have been sold to date.

The company has also announced that BP, who sponsored a yacht in the 2000/1 BT Global Challenge will again be sponsoring a boat in the 2004/5 race.
