A total of 67 boats are taking part in the 11th Red Funnel Easter Challenge which kicks off today.

Crews are preparing for some close racing in this popular ‘warm-up’ regatta for the offshore season, organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC).

As well as the Easter Challenge, there’s a three-day tuning regatta, which started yesterday, and is raced over inshore short Solent courses designed to emphasise crew work and boat handing.

IRC and IRM classes will compete for Red Funnel Easter Challenge prizes awarded to all classes at the end of each days racing.
