Grant Dalton is not amused with the tough conditions

As we struggle with mental boredom there is no question about this being one of the toughest ocean races. We’ve been parked for hour after hour for nearly five days and have made very slow progress.

We were totally becalmed all night and, with an oily ocean at dawn break, the chance of a good breeze is looking very slim. However, we do believe that by this evening the pattern will start to return to normal and release us into what may be called more normal trade winds. Here’s hoping.
