Wayfarers continue to dominate the medium handicap fleet at Lymington Town SC’s Sunday Points Series

For the first race of Lymington Town Sailing Club’s Sunday Points A series, race officer Peter Conway used the Force 3 south-westerly to lay a good Olympic course for both fast and medium handicap classes on Sunday 21 April.

The conditions suited the RS400 of Giles and Heather Chipperfield who romped to victory in the fast handicap. Wayfarers continue to dominate the medium handicap with John Sims celebrating his birthday with a victory in Gandalf. Iain and Sue Sutherland in Dragonfly had crossed the fleet on port at the start and then faded while Gandalf was never headed despite Roy Todd’s best efforts in Moonraker.
