After five days there's been a 54 per cent year-on-year increase in visitor attendance at the Schroders London Boat Show

The latest record breaking attendance figures at this week’s Schroders London Boat Show, since our previous new story click here, after five days shows there’s been a 54 per cent year-on-year increase in visitor attendance.

The total of visitors as of Tuesday night was 85,000; the weekend attendance comprised 54,000 of that total with the Saturday recording 29,800 alone, a new single day record for the London boat show since statistics were accurately monitored.

On a news story on our sister website IBI.com, it seems that even the relatively quiet Monday after the first weekend saw a 50 per cent lift against last year’s daily total of 6,000. Indications are that the organisers might well reach a declared target of 200,000 visitors. The 2003 event posted 137,000, the lowest ever Earls Court attendance after several years of decline.
