Quadriplegic sailor, Geoff Holt set sail again this morning 24/5/07

Quadriplegic sailor, Geoff Holt, is on the way to Brixham on the fourth leg of his attempt to be the first disabled person to sail around Great Britain.

Holt, who started his sail from Hamble last Sunday aboardFreethinkerthe latest mark 2a model of the Challenger, called in at Lymington, Portland and Bridport, before leaving at dawn this morning (Thursday, 24 May), for the sail to Brixham, where he hopes to arrive late afternoon today.

Geoff was forced to delay his start from Portland until 1430 hrs yesterday because of weather conditions and endured a slow sail to Bridport. ” It’s very frustrating to sail so slowly, but it was a beautiful sunny day and it was wonderful to feel the warm sun on my back”, said Holt.
