Franck Cammas and crew scrape the transatlantic record back to just over four days 24/7/07

They’ve done it. Franck Cammas and his crew on the giant trimaran Groupama 3 have beaten the transatlantic record, scraping four-and-a-half hours off Orange 2’s time to complete the 2,925-mile passage from Ambrose Light, New York, to the Lizard in Cornwall in 4 days 3 hours and 57 minutes.
