Following an all night duel, Amer Sports Too under her skipper Lisa McDonald has just managed just to slip through to the east of the Djuice

As predicted the positions at the front of the VOR fleet remain unchanged on the drag race to the next waypoint at Trindade. Illbruck continues to lead the pack with Assa Abloy, Team News Corp and Tyco keeping the pace ahead of Amer Sports One.

At the back of the fleet there’s a bit of match racing taking place with Djuice Dragons and Amer Sports Too fighting to hold off last position. Following an all night duel, Amer Sports Too under her skipper Lisa McDonald has just managed just to slip through to the east of the Djuice. “I cannot quite believe we are into day 21 and are match racing in the middle of the night. What a hoot.” Commented Bridget Suckling at 0100 this morning. Pushed so hard by their pride, both yachts managed to take back one mile from next competitor in front of them, the Swedish Team SEB.
