Richard Estaugh leads Enterprise worlds from 113-boat fleet 31/7/06

Registration day at the Enterprise world and national championship at Looe was depressing – non-stop rain and very wet scrutineering forms. However, despite travel and rain the sailors were in good spirits.

Sunday was a completely new and better day, fair winds of Force 3-4 occasionally 5 and the fleet of 113 blue sails disappeared two miles into Looe Bay in beautiful sunny, breezy conditions.

Provisional and actual results were very different after the International Jury enforced a contravention of the sailing rules. Many missed a mark on the course.
