Don’t miss tonight’s television programme, Life on Land, featuring Ellen MacArthur. This 45-minute documentary on BBC1 at 1035 is about the aftermath of Ellen’s second place in last year’s Vendee Globe race sailing Kingfisher.

As well as some gripping sailing footage, the programme focuses on Ellen’s recent activities which includes writing a book, sailing big trimarans and purchasing a house.
