In an abating breeze, djuice dragons is chasing Tyco for the lead while SEB trying to snatch fourth place off Amer Sports One.Meanwhile Illbruck has taken control of their leak problem and although they are in last place overall, they only lost 20 miles during the two hours it took to pump out the water.

The missing inspection port on the bow just behind the headstay which caused the leak problem has yet to be repaired but once they hit flatter water the job will be a lot easier. “It was a frightening moment for us especially since we did not know why the water was coming in so fast. We had thoughts of going back to shore to smoother calmer waters but fortunately we were able to control the situation out at sea,” said John Kostecki “tonight we expect the winds to lighten off so we will be able to make a good solid repair”
