CMAC Management Committee wish to encourage participation with

In an effort to encourage more nations to compete in the Champagne Mumm Admiral’s Cup, the CMAC Management Committee has decided to change the ‘big’ boat for the 2001 event. The IMS 50 class will be replaced by the Corel 45 which has a good spread of ownership around the world.

The Corel 45 world championship for the One Ton Cup will also be held in the UK and there will be several boats available for charter. Chris Little, the President of the Corel 45 Class Association said, ‘We are delighted to be associated with the Champagne Mumm Admiral’s Cup and our members have been unanimous in their support for participating in the event.’
