Representing the RS800 class, Geoff Carveth and Craig Davies have won the dinghy champion of champions race

Geoff Carveth and Craig Davies have won the Endeavour Trophy, the dinghy champion of champions, race which was held this weekend (2-3 November) at the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club, Burnham-on-Crouch. Despite the light winds and strong tides on Saturday, the race officer managed to squeeze in five of the eight races and the 25-strong RS400 enjoyed some close, exciting competition.

Although Carveth and Davies set the tone on the Saturday, always at the top end of the fleet, the stronger south-westerly breeze on the Sunday for the final three races, allowed the super-hot duo to really show their true colours, clinching the title on the last race.

Overall Results

1st Geoff Carveth and Craig Davies (RS800)

2nd Nick Caig and Keith Bedborough (OK)

3rd Roger Gilbert and James Stewart (RS400)
