The British Marine Federation, and its subsidiary, National Boat Shows were celebrating last night as the Collins Stewart London Boat Show 2007 was awarded Exhibition of the Year Award at the Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards held at the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair, London.

The judges conferred the Award on the show for researching and the providing what exhibitors and visitors wanted from the event by introducing “a number of significant changes to the format of the exhibition to improve its overall appeal. Many established features were replaced by new initiatives to make the show more of a ‘lifestyle’ event”. The judges went on to conclude that “the changes worked well and post-show feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike has been extremely positive” and praised the trade organisation for finding the time to renew and reinvigorate what is a flagship event for its industry.

The Collins Stewart London Boat Show will take place at London ExCeL from 11-20 January 2008.
