In the last couple of weeks two AC72s have hit the water, with different results

With Emirates Team New Zealand achieving speeds of almost 40 knots, and foiling up the Waitemata Harbour, Auckland, followers of the America’s Cup have been enjoying some incredible video footage and images courtesy of the team.

And across the other side of the world, Oracle Team USA’s AC72 (known as USA-17) was finally launched in San Francisco where is displayed its performance potential before a daggerboard failure forced the boat to return to base.
