Wind causes setback on penultimate day of 49er world championship

On the penultimate day of the 49er world championship in Athens yesterday, the weather caused another setback when the wind failed to materialise, giving the race committee no other option than to abandon racing for the day.

With five races still left to complete the schedule, the race committee are hoping to get in as many races as possible before the cut off time of 1600 hours today in the hope of crowning a new world champion.
