The inaugural Dubois Cup opened with a party in Palma last night in the presence of Lady Helen Taylor

The inaugural Dubois Cup opened last night with a cocktail party at the Real Club Nautico de Palma in the presence of Lady Helen Taylor, who as a patron and ambassador for CLIC Sargent, the children’s cancer care charity, was supporting the regatta’s efforts to raise money for the organisation.

Pictured here are from left to right, the commodore of the Real Club Nautico de Palma, John Grandy, the event’s race officer, Ed Dubois and Lady Helen.

The regatta, which starts today, will involve about ten Dubois designed superyachts competing for the Dubios Cup over two days of pursuit racing. Some of them will then go on to compete in the Superyacht Cup Ulysse Nardin which begins on 17 and will run for three days involving up to 60 yachts.
