The iShares Cup makes a splash

The iShares Cup, which began its day with impressive fanfare - Dame Ellen MacArthur firing a cannon to open the racing event - continued to make a splash throughout the day. In addition to hulls out of the water and near misses with moored boats, spectators were witness to two of the fleet snagging marks and anchors, two broken rudders, and a man overboard.
Course re-lays and boat repairs have seen long delays, but organisers are hopeful to complete a fifth race by the end of the day.
