Super stylish short video from the Superyacht Cup Palma that does justice to the five beautiful J-Class and multiple superyachts competing
Five J-Class yachts raced against each other for the first time ever in Europe during the Superyacht Cup in Palma mid June, causing a bit of a distraction for the other 15 competing superyachts trying to concentrate on their pursuit-race starts.
With the circus act that is the current America’s Cup underway, this stylishly edited, slow-motion, high definition video, shot by Anchovy Luxury, helps you appreciate these graceful Js in their full glory – and show that ‘slow monohulls’ are still pretty spectacular.
For best results open it up in full screen, pause it to let it load, then enjoy (or vimeo link here).
Anchovy Luxury is a new digital superyacht agency set-up by the Borg brothers from Malta, specializing in marketing, photoshoots (using Kurt Arrigo for photography and art direction) and videos. They started a year ago and you can tell from this official footage, produced and directed by 49er sailor Benji Borg and edited by James Vernon, that they are sailors showing angles sailors want to see.
