Apparently kiteboard racing does have a track record
First came the news that Kiteboards would replace windsurfers in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Then, following my posting of the story in which I questioned whether there was an established kiteboard racing circuit, the evidence started filling my inbox.

A trawl through the ISAF website revealed that experimental kiteboarding competition rules were drawn up back in 2009.
