Racing at the tenth edition of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez began yesterday morning under bright sunshine and almost summer conditions. With a promising breeze at the start, it was the first race for the Classics who enjoyed the best racing. Leading the fleet home were Altair and Rowdy within a second of one another.
With more than 300 monohulls on the water, crowds onshore, spectator boats and the media, it was a grand spectacle that has become one of the greatest annual gatherings.
