Britain drop to third in world rankings

Great Britain continue to count four top-three places (one No.1; two No.2s; and one No.3) but have been knocked back into third position in the national standings by a marked Polish performance - spearheaded by Mateusz Kusznierewicz and Dominik Zycki's win at the Star World Championship in Miami (see photo).

It's been a great month for the Polish Olympic sailing team who now hold two world number one spots along with a second and third. Together with the Star duo, the Polish windsurfing team has boosted their nation's standing.

Australia hold on to their three World No.1 spots and the best-nation standing in the latest release of the ISAF World Sailing Rankings. Italy and Spain also continue to perform well, although a disappointing French performance in Hyères, returning just one podium position, has seen them fall back from third to sixth in the national standings.
