Ladies of Cowes in for a treat

Ladies - you may have noticed while walking the busy streets of Cowes, that it is not only retail therapy on offer this year, but a chance to indulge in a spot of girlie pampering.

Whether a hard day on the water, or a day out with your flexible friend, you can revive yourselves at the Pantene 'Time Renewal' Capsule (see opposite). The ladies at Pantene are offering passers-by professional massages, as well as hair consultations, all absolutely free. You can walk straight in, or book a slot for later in the day. One satisfied customer remarked: "What a great idea - I thoroughly enjoyed it. I bet they'll be straight in there after racing." The capsule, pitched within the Cowes Yacht Haven, is open from 10 till 6 everyday of the event.

Thursday, Champagne G.H.Mumm Ladies Day, sees further treats. Down the road at the Parade, Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare is not only stocking exclusive products, but will be offering hand massages all day, absolutely free. Perfect after all that sheet trimming. You could follow this with a glass of rose at the Champagne G.H. Mumm bar. They're sponsoring Ladies Day at this years Skandia Cowes Week, and to celebrate will be offering discounts on its plush rose champagne. Cheers.
