Semi Finals Kick off Today
Emirates Team New Zealand and BMW Oracle Racing are favourites to make it through to the Louis Vuitton finals taking wins over their respective opponents Desafio Espanol and Luna Rossa. But few are predicting an easy ride. With the unpredictability of Karol Jablonski helming for the Spanish team and the raw, youthful talent of one of the best match racers in the world, James Spithill aboard the Italian boat, expect sparks to fly.
Racing starts with a warning signal at 1450 local time (1350 GMT) and the first start at 1500 (1400 GMT).
First up will be the Kiwis/Spanish match with the Americans and Italians following behind. Both pairs will race on the same course.
