Another day of generally light airs are expected for the final day of Skandia Cowes Week.
The current situation shows a ridge of high pressure from the Azores High to south-west England which extends from Iceland, over Wales and the West Country. This front is moving slowly east and declining in intensity with the remains expected over the Isle of Wight tonight. A following cold front is due by late Sunday or Monday morning.
Expect a fair amount of cloud over the island today but don't forget to apply the sunscreen because there will be plenty of sunny intervals.

Situation at 0700 this morning on the Bramble Bank showed 8kts from the north.
Outlook for Sunday West to north-westerly 10-15kts with a cold front approaching late evening.

Events of the day Racing for the remaining classes continues, and the overall prizegiving will take place this evening on the Bandstand of the Skandia Cowes Week Parade at approximately 2000. Everyone is welcome.
